Inside Luna Mar you’ll find lovely updates and a relaxing atmosphere in this elegant coastal home. This unique home offers three bedrooms on the ground level separate from the main house and upstairs features an additional three bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with extra cookware so making a meal for the family is a breeze.
Situated in a cul-de-sac near the mouth of Galveston Bay, this gated home features amazing sunsets from the covered decks. Enjoy hours of fun in the private pool or fishing from the dock. Bring the boat along and use the tie ups at the boat slip, complete with a fish cleaning station. The beach is only a short drive away.

This home works great with Bay Vista.
Location: 1 miles to the Beach; 18.5 miles to 61st Street; 21.4 miles to 25th and Strand; 17.5 miles to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark.

We have a family group that comes to Galveston every year. Adults and kids both. This house is by far the best one we have had in the 7+ years we have come. The kids had a pool to utilize the whole time while the guys had their fishing. My dad caught an Alligator Gar, so the fishing is definitely a major selling point of this home! We had plenty of space as we each had our own rooms and bathrooms. There were two things we wanted to bring to the owners attention: the washer and dryer near the master does not have a working dryer. We had to get tools to try and turn the knob and luckily finally got it working but overall, it’s time for a new one. We were also a bit worried when we saw the trundle under the bunk beds was no longer there. We had our room placements set before we came and were expecting to be able to sleep 3 people in there. We luckily brought an air mattress and made it work. Other than these two issues, we had an amazing time and would definitely like to return next year!

We all had such great fun! Everything we needed was there. It had something for everyone; quiet space to read or work, games for the rainy periods, pool, quick beach access and plenty of fishing space. Bait and Ice were a quick few blocks away and the area was quiet. The underwater lights weren't working this time, but the top light was good for evening fishing. Everyone had a great time and we plan to return.

The house had plenty of space for several adults. The large deck was perfect for group meals and morning coffee. The private pool was more of an asset than I anticipated. Fishing was very good in this location.

The house itself was a nice place. Could use some updating but overall a cute place. I wish the house would have had a few more things. There were plenty of kitchen utensils. Two trash bags for 11 people for 4 days didn’t seem like enough. It would have been nice if they had some basic cooking spices. The pool was great! Overall, I would stay here again

All of our properties get a starter bag that includes an extra trash bag, a small dish liquid, 2 dishwasher tabs, 2 laundry pods, a kitchen sponge, a roll of paper towels and a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. Our rental agreement includes a page with a list of "items to bring" to assist our guests in purchasing what they need for the home. We hope you stay with us again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Luna Mar. The house was properly stocked with everything we need, the fishing was great, and the pool was nice to have. The beach is a short 5 minute drive away. If you're lucky enough for clear skies, the sunset is amazing over the bay. We will definitely be back for another stay.
