Welcome to Ocean View, where the name speaks for itself! Located in the Spanish Grant subdivision, this home features floor to ceiling windows across the living room with never ending views of the ocean. The living room contains brand new furniture that is sure to have the whole family relaxing in no time. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front facing partially covered deck with plenty of seating for everyone.
Downstairs offers a large gathering area with two picnic tables, a wooden swing, an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water, and a half bath. It’s a perfect space for entertaining the entire family! Upstairs, you’ll find a private master suite and balcony with panoramic views for watching all of the romantic sunrises and sunsets Galveston has to offer.
Please note that this home is NOT pet friendly.
The ground level has parking for 4 vehicles, but no garage access. There is an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water, as well as a separate half bath for your use. There is also a newly constructed bedroom with two Queen size beds and a TV with an adjoining bathroom featuring a combo tub/shower.
The main level has an open concept kitchen, dining and living area with amazing views from the floor to ceiling windows. The ranch-style dining table has the unique feature of bench seating, and there is also additional breakfast bar top seating. Down the hall there are two bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, Pyramid bunks, and TVs. There is a shared hall bath with walk in shower only, no tub. Downstairs will have your washer/dryer access as well.
The second level has the master suite with King size bed and the adjoining master bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower. There is also an over-sized walk in closet for those long summer vacations. Right off of the bedroom, you’ll find a private balcony with ocean views and custom outdoor furniture for your enjoyment.
Notes: Please use the directed beach access points for Spanish Grant, and do not cross over any dunes.
Location: less than 1 minute to the beach; 6.2 mile drive to 61st Street; 8.8
mile drive to 25th & Strand; 6.7 miles to Moody Gardens/Schlitterbahn Waterpark.
Note: Although provided, WiFi access/Cable/Dish service can be unreliable here on the West End of Galveston Island. We apologize, but Gary Greene Vacation Rentals is unable to guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay and is unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.

Lovely home directly on the beach. Plenty of room to be comfortable. Well supplied for kitchen needs. I did need to rewash bath, hand and face towels that were supplied to us because of mildewy odor. Other than that, we enjoyed the home very much!!

This house is in a perfect location, right on the beach behind the dunes. Not a lot of people traffic. Just the local renters and owners and a few visitors. Everyone we encountered was friendly. The house is spacious. What I really liked about the main floor bedrooms was that, although there was one nice-sized bathroom for two bedrooms full of guests, each room had a vanity with a sink and mirror, so you could brush your teeth, do your hair, and the ladies could put on their makeup without having to go into the bathroom. The bottom beds of the bunk beds were either full size beds or queen size. I'm not sure, but they were large enough for two small to medium sized people to sleep comfortably. A family with kids would absolutely love this house! My friends and I absolutely loved this house! We will be back. And the people who work for Gary Green Vacations were extremely helpful. Just a great experience all around.

We rented this house during the 2nd week of December, and it was perfect for our getaway. The house has an incredible view of the beach, with large decks on the main floor and off of the master bedroom. When it was rainy and we didn’t feel like walking the beach, we could just look out of the large floor-to-ceiling windows and watch the surf. It was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen, and there were TVs in each bedroom. Whenever we had questions, the owner was quick to respond. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends, especially those with extended family.

Beautiful home on the beach. Perfect for our family. We loved it! Enough space we never felt crowded. The house was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely use Gary Greene Rentals again. Very helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. Can’t beat that view!!

Stayed here with 3 kids under 3 and the location can't be beat! Convenient for parents to tag team if one kid wants to stay out and another wants to take a break inside. Also, try the coffeeshop nearby the Seawall Coffee - yummy!! Couple of downsides - the fourth bedroom is completely separate from the home so you have to go outside and downstairs to access it. LOTS of bugs swarm outside the house door - this is likely just bc you are right there on the beach but sharing so you can be prepared with bug spray! Overall a great stay and time. Thanks!

Proximity to the beach and adequate space made it perfect. Our biggest complaint was that neither of the manual can openers were sharp enough to open cans. Not too bad, huh?

Beautiful house!Great location and right on beach! The house if very well equipped. Soaps and shampoos are provided. There’s a great outdoor shower and bathroom. The view is amazing and in a quiet area. Love this place. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is for the firm beds. They are good mattresses but very firm. I did not sleep very well on them, otherwise this place is great!

Location and view were both perfect! Our entire family of 12 was very comfortable. House was very well stocked with everything we needed. Our only complaint was the A/C was not working when we arrived, which made unloading and getting settled uncomfortable. However the maintenance was already working on issue when we got there, so within a few hours all was fixed. We will definitely be staying here again next year!!

House was perfectly located. Lots of room for family. Could use a powder room on main level. And some sort of lift or elevator would help. Perfect view and lots of sleeping areas for my family . Would definitely rent again
